The day we got to my Aunt Les' we were really excited! Because for one we hadn't seen her or Bob in five years and two she's our Aunt, well she's my Dad's Aunt and Callan and my great Aunt. Bob is Aunt les' partner. He and Aunt Les are very nice people and I hope to see them again soon.( when we go back to Canada). we might even see them sooner than that thought because they might come down to Mexico!
Anyways, for the next few days we just rested and planed where we were going.
Oh... almost forgot! Three days after we got to Aunt Les' we went to a zoo called ''Out of Africa'' that was really really fun!
(see above).

OUT OF AFRICA

July 16th: Today we went on a safari, it is only about ten minutes away from our aunt Les's house my family and my uncle Bob came with us.
And this place is not like a zoo itgives the animals way more space and the rescue animals.
When we got there we got on our buggy. The first thing we saw were two giraffe's, you could feed them with your mouth, only me my uncle Bob and Morgan did it out of 30 people.
Then we saw some gazelles and two ostriches.
After that our buggy dropped us of at the snake show but we were an hour early so we walked
along and looked at the tigers ,lions, wolves, cougars, hyenas and a panther.
Then we got to ride a camel, it was very bumpy!
Then we started to walk back, when we got there it was just about to start.
They brought in 2 huge snakes a Burmese python and a reticulated python, since they were so
huge they needed a few people to help them carry the snakes and Morgan and I were chosen.
After we watched the tiger splash that's when pro's get tigers to chase them around.
it is so cool and the tigers don't even get hurt.
Then we watched the predator feed, they feed the animals turkey, horse, chicken and cow but they feed the bears fish, seed's and vegetables.
Then it started to rain so we left it was amazing, I would definitely do it again cause I love animals.

July 8 Today we left Estes park kept on driving through the Rocky's we made a few stops, but the big part of the day was climbing a mountain. We started to look for a mountain then we saw the perfect one, it was about 11500 feet tall and it wasn't straight up. We parked the car but where we parked it there was 200 foot drop on the right so my mom did not want to get out of the car! So just me my dad and brother started to climb, when we were 20 feet up my mum said she wanted to come, so we stopped and waited for her when she got to where we were we continued. Left right over rock over bush we climbed like that for a long time. Finally we got to the top! After taking a few pictures we started the journey down.
I would definitely do it again for the view.

The day before we had got to the Rocky's.
Today we drove to Estes park, Coloraldo. Estes
Park is about 100 km northwest from Denver.Coloraldo is so beautiful and The Rocky's are amazing. When we got to a Hotel we unpacked everything because water got into the trailer. we went to a pool while my Dad went to get stuff to water proof the trailer. At the pool we met some kids that were from Iowa one was 8 and one was 10. On the way back to the hotel room we saw two moose! They had huge antlers and where taller than a Horse.

Chicago

On July 7 we left at 6:54 in the morning and started to drive to Michigan.
When we got to Michigan we kept driving, when we got to Ohio we stopped for breakfast.
Then we drove through Ohio and half way through India and stopped at the welcome center.
At the welcome center they said we should go to the Indiana sand dunes but instead we went to
a museum.
we spent 2 hours there.
Then me and my Dad went to medieval times while my Mum and brother went shopping.
Medieval times was awesome.
That night we stayed in a Marriott hotel.
Part 2 The Big Move Part 1 of The Big Move
Hi again,
this is about the move from Canada to Mexico.( We drove down, so it's kind of big).
July 7th 2009 5:54- I woke up. We were all packed up and ready to go. Everybody had all ready said their goodbyes, so we left. I slept untill we got to the border. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes to get through. Which is okay for the border.
That day we drove through three states Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and stopped in Chicago my mom and I went to The Water tower Place while My brother Callan went to medieval Times. Before that we went to a museum about War, Mining, and Space. It was pretty fun!
At 10:00 we went to go find a Hotel. Eventually we got to one, swam at their pool, and then went to bed.

Greetings
Hi, I'm Barry the father of our family. You may be wondering what this is all about, who we are and why we moved to Mexico.
Here's the 2 minute history....
I'm From England and Linda was born in Canada, we met in the UK in 1991. That year we spent the summer "travelling" Europe, I say "travelling' because that was the plan but plans do have a way of changing . We set out for Crete in early April with the intention of heading north through Europe, however August arrived (and the money ran out) and we'd only visited three of the islands and had setup home on Thira (Santorini.) At this point we sailed to Athens and caught the Magic bus all the way back to the UK.
We got married in 92 and have lived in Canada ever since, until this year that is. Canada is a fantastic place we've seen lots of it and have lived in three provinces, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia where our boys Morgan and Callan were born in 97 and 99.
Since 2000 we have been based in Wainfleet near Niagara falls, it's a great spot but after nine years we were ready to move on.
Once again we didn't originally intend to live in another Country, our plan was to travel for six months to a year before settling down again. In 2008 we began planning and the closer the trip got we found the longer we wanted to stay away for. Linda had also just completed her Teaching degree and was eager to put what she'd learned into practice. Working abroad seemed to be the perfect answer. Linda spent days job hunting on the net and found opportunities in Korea, Peru, Equador and Mexico. We chose Mexico because the position was the most interesting. Linda is the English content teacher and child development expert at a startup international school.
Well that's the basics, our intention is to use this blog to share our experiences on an ongoing basis.
So there's more to come.
